Ever wonder how colored landscape mulch is made? The scrap pallets are run through the Rotochopper and shredded into mulch. The nails are removed through a multi-step process so that all that remains is wood shavings. To make the mulch colored, the Rotochopper injects water and colorant directly into the grinding chamber, using the force of the grinding process to thoroughly mix colorant into the wood fiber. The whole process is completely self-regulated and easy to adjust to match wood fiber consistency and mulch specifications.
This video shows the process of mulching pallets.
