This week, we would like to introduce you to Andy Hoogesteger our Plant Manager. Andy has worked for Hay Creek for around 4 years. Andy serves on our managmenet team in addition to his regular duties as plant manager.

Q: What is unique about working for Hay Creek Companies?
A: We have a diverse group of employees, and the culture.
Q: What is your proudest moment at Hay Creek Companies?
A: Having the crew that I have, they make me look good a lot!
Q: Tell us about a time you did something innovative or found a solution for a difficult problem at work:
A: We work to solve challenges every day, so I can’t come up with just one example.
Q: What do you like to do in your time off?
Q: What are the 3 most important things in your life?
A: God, family, and the outdoors
Q: Who has impacted you most in your career and how?
A: My dad. He taught me work is work, and you’ll need to do a lot of it to be successful.
Q: What advice do you have for prospective Hay Creek Companies work candidates?
A: We have a great atmosphere and culture, but be ready to go, everybody here works hard and they expect they people working next to them to do the same.

A: Hard working people
Q: How do you define success?
A: Knowing our employees like it here, and giving them a good place to work. Being around when employees are buying houses, starting families, or other big life events.

A: You’re capable of more than you think.

A: Great hair.
Q: What hidden talent do you have that your coworkers don’t know about?
A: I like to make fishing lures.
