Pittsville, Wis. – Time to Revive, a Dallas-based ministry committed to pursuing revival in the U.S. and beyond, was in central Wisconsin last week for a movement called reviveWISCONSIN. As part of the ministry to the community, Tom Gardner, owner and CEO of Hay Creek Companies in Pittsville joined other leaders to share hope and show God’s love to his own neighbors.
Gardner said Jesus is the hope this world needs. “As we spoke with people this week, I hope there was a new awareness of God in their lives,” he said. “People are hungry for significance, and the gospel gives them that.”
Gardner met Wednesday morning with other leaders to pray for the community before heading out to visit businesses and residents in Auburndale and Pittsville. The team prayed for people, shared encouragement and gave out New Testament Bibles to each person they met.
On Saturday evening, Gardner hosted a community revival night at Hay Creek Pallet, Inc. in Pittsville. This time of worship, prayer and celebration was open to anyone who wanted to attend. The informal gathering was an opportunity to use the warehouse for something that means more to Gardner than the everyday business of sales and manufacturing.
“I would like to help people see God at work in their lives and see what God is doing in the community,” Gardner said when asked why he made reviveWisconsin his main focus this past week. Inspired by something he heard recently, he wants people to know, “anyone is welcome, nobody is perfect, and anything is possible. This is about people coming as they are and expecting God to show up.”
Hay Creek Companies, one of several businesses owned by Tom Gardner, is full-service pallet manufacturing operation. The company also manufactures premium wood pellets, landscape mulches and animal bedding by recycling wood waste material. The company’s mission is: “Honoring God in all we do, helping develop people, pursuing excellence, while growing profitably.”
